The founder and director of Silver Nest Relocation is Caroline Kaufmann.

Born in Switzerland, she spent the first 20 years of her life both in the French and German part of the country. She graduated from The Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne before she started her career at the historic luxury hotel Baur au Lac in the center of Zurich.

After this successful start into working life she joined Hilton Hotels where she ran through several management programs and held leading positions in the most reputable hotels of the chain in Rome, Abu Dhabi, Paris, Vienna and New York City. In New York City she was employed by the legendary Waldorf=Astoria Hotel where she played an integral part in accommodating customers from all around the World. She has always worked in demanding environments where Royals, Presidents, Diplomats and Celebrities call themselves at home. As Director of International Sales at the Waldorf=Astoria, she took care of the international clientele and ensured that they have memorable stays far away from their homes.

Thanks to her professional journey as well as the several international moves that go with it, she has experienced the requirements and needs of expatriates herself. Having traveled to all continents she quickly familiarized herself with various cultures and discovered the importance of collaborating with other people. This know-how combined with her dedication and detailed approach as well as her connection to Switzerland makes Caroline and her team the perfect provider of high end and very personalized relocation solutions.

Her foundation for success is professionalism, discretion, flexibility, availability paired with local knowledge and exceptional relationships. Each assignment is handled by Caroline personally to ensure that all needs are catered to.

Caroline lives in Zürich with her husband and their 3 children.
